pub struct SqlServerTableDesc {
pub schema_name: Arc<str>,
pub name: Arc<str>,
pub columns: Box<[SqlServerColumnDesc]>,
}Expand description
Materialize compatible description of a table in Microsoft SQL Server.
See SqlServerTableRaw for the raw information we read from the upstream
system.
Note: We map a SqlServerTableDesc to a Materialize RelationDesc as
part of purification. Specifically we use this description to generate a
SQL statement for subsource and it’s the parsing of that statement which
actually generates a RelationDesc.
Fields§
§schema_name: Arc<str>Name of the schema that the table belongs to.
name: Arc<str>Name of the table.
columns: Box<[SqlServerColumnDesc]>Columns for the table.
Implementations§
Source§impl SqlServerTableDesc
impl SqlServerTableDesc
Sourcepub fn new(raw: SqlServerTableRaw) -> Self
pub fn new(raw: SqlServerTableRaw) -> Self
Creating a SqlServerTableDesc from a SqlServerTableRaw description.
Note: Not all columns from SQL Server can be ingested into Materialize. To determine if a
column is supported see SqlServerColumnDesc::decode_type.
Sourcepub fn qualified_name(&self) -> SqlServerQualifiedTableName
pub fn qualified_name(&self) -> SqlServerQualifiedTableName
Returns the SqlServerQualifiedTableName for this SqlServerTableDesc.
Sourcepub fn apply_text_columns(&mut self, text_columns: &BTreeSet<&str>)
pub fn apply_text_columns(&mut self, text_columns: &BTreeSet<&str>)
Update this SqlServerTableDesc to represent the specified columns
as text in Materialize.
Sourcepub fn apply_excl_columns(&mut self, excl_columns: &BTreeSet<&str>)
pub fn apply_excl_columns(&mut self, excl_columns: &BTreeSet<&str>)
Update this SqlServerTableDesc to exclude the specified columns from being
replicated into Materialize.
Sourcepub fn decoder(
&self,
desc: &RelationDesc,
) -> Result<SqlServerRowDecoder, SqlServerError>
pub fn decoder( &self, desc: &RelationDesc, ) -> Result<SqlServerRowDecoder, SqlServerError>
Returns a SqlServerRowDecoder which can be used to decode tiberius::Rows into
mz_repr::Rows that match the shape of the provided RelationDesc.

fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self with the foreground set to
value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red() and
green(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Set foreground color to white using fg():

are pithier.

This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold() and
underline(), which have the same functionality
but are pithier.

fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.

§Example
Enable styling painted only when both stdout and stderr are TTYs:
