Expand description
Description of a column from a table in Microsoft SQL Server.
Fields§
§name: Arc<str>
Name of the column.
column_type: Option<ColumnType>
The intended data type of the this column in Materialize. None
indicates this
column should be excluded when replicating into Materialize.
Note: This type might differ from the decode_type
, e.g. a user can
specify TEXT COLUMNS
to decode columns as text.
primary_key_constraint: Option<Arc<str>>
If this column is part of the primary key for the table, and the name of the constraint.
decode_type: SqlServerColumnDecodeType
Rust type we should parse the data from a tiberius::Row
as.
raw_type: Arc<str>
Raw type of the column as we read it from upstream.
This is useful to keep around for debugging purposes.
Implementations§
Source§impl SqlServerColumnDesc
impl SqlServerColumnDesc
Sourcepub fn new(raw: &SqlServerColumnRaw) -> Self
pub fn new(raw: &SqlServerColumnRaw) -> Self
Create a SqlServerColumnDesc
from a SqlServerColumnRaw
description.
Sourcepub fn is_supported(&self) -> bool
pub fn is_supported(&self) -> bool
Returns true if this column can be replicated into Materialize.
Sourcepub fn represent_as_text(&mut self)
pub fn represent_as_text(&mut self)
Change this SqlServerColumnDesc
to be represented as text in Materialize.
Sourcepub fn exclude(&mut self)
pub fn exclude(&mut self)
Exclude this SqlServerColumnDesc
from being replicated into Materialize.
Sourcepub fn is_excluded(&self) -> bool
pub fn is_excluded(&self) -> bool
Check if this SqlServerColumnDesc
is excluded from being replicated into Materialize.

Source§fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self
with the foreground set to
value
.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red()
and
green()
, which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Set foreground color to white using fg()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Color};
painted.fg(Color::White);
Set foreground color to white using white()

use yansi::Paint;
painted.white();

.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like on_red()
and
on_green()
, which have the same functionality but
are pithier.
§Example
Set background color to red using fg()
:

painted.bg(Color::Red);
Set background color to red using on_red()
.

painted.on_red();

fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the styling Attribute
value
.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold()
and
underline()
, which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example
Make text bold using attr()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Attribute};

Enables the yansi
Quirk
value
.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use quirk-specific
builder methods like mask()
and
wrap()
, which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Quirk};
painted.quirk(Quirk::Wrap);
Enable wrapping using wrap()
.
use yansi::Paint;
painted.wrap();
Source§fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
👎Deprecated since 1.0.1: renamed to resetting()
due to conflicts with Vec::clear()
.
The clear()
method will be removed in a future release.
fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
resetting()
due to conflicts with Vec::clear()
.
The clear()
method will be removed in a future release.Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition
value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted
only when both stdout
and stderr
are TTYs:
use yansi::{Paint, Condition};
painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);
