Struct ColumnBuilder

Source
pub struct ColumnBuilder<C: Columnar> {
    current: C::Container,
    finished: Option<Column<C>>,
    pending: VecDeque<Column<C>>,
}
Expand description

A container builder for Column<C>.

Fields§

§current: C::Container

Container that we’re writing to.

§finished: Option<Column<C>>

Finished container that we presented to callers of extract/finish.

We don’t recycle the column because for extract, it’s not typed, and after calls to finish it’ll be None.

§pending: VecDeque<Column<C>>

Completed containers pending to be sent.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl<C: Columnar> ContainerBuilder for ColumnBuilder<C>
where C::Container: Clone,

Source§

type Container = Column<C>

The container type we’re building.
Source§

fn extract(&mut self) -> Option<&mut Self::Container>

Extract assembled containers, potentially leaving unfinished data behind. Can be called repeatedly, for example while the caller can send data. Read more
Source§

fn finish(&mut self) -> Option<&mut Self::Container>

Extract assembled containers and any unfinished data. Should be called repeatedly until it returns None.
Source§

fn partition<I>( container: &mut Self::Container, builders: &mut [Self], index: I, )
where Self: for<'a> PushInto<<Self::Container as Container>::Item<'a>>, I: for<'a> FnMut(&<Self::Container as Container>::Item<'a>) -> usize,

Partitions container among builders, using the function index to direct items.
