Struct mz_sql::ast::UnresolvedObjectName
source · Expand description
A name of a table, view, custom type, etc., possibly multi-part, i.e. db.schema.obj TODO(jkosh44) There still seems to be some confusion as to what the definition of “Object” is in the parser and planner. This struct is only used for items that live in a schema, which in other parts of the code we refer to as “Item” or “Entry”. “Object” tends to include clusters, replicas, databases, and schemas, which have their own struct for names.

Implementations§
source§impl UnresolvedObjectName
impl UnresolvedObjectName
sourcepub fn unqualified(n: &str) -> UnresolvedObjectName
pub fn unqualified(n: &str) -> UnresolvedObjectName
Creates an ObjectName
with a single Ident
, i.e. it appears as
“unqualified”.
sourcepub fn qualified(n: &[&str]) -> UnresolvedObjectName
pub fn qualified(n: &[&str]) -> UnresolvedObjectName
Creates an ObjectName
with an Ident
for each element of n
.
Panics if passed an in ineligible &[&str]
whose length is 0 or greater
than 3.
