Expand description
This type is used to simplify enum variant comparison between Schema
and types::Value
.
NOTE This type was introduced due to a limitation of mem::discriminant
requiring a value
be constructed in order to get the discriminant, which makes it difficult to implement a
function that maps from Discriminant<Schema> -> Discriminant<Value>
. Conversion into this
intermediate type should be especially fast, as the number of enum variants is small, which
should compile into a jump-table for the conversion.
