A handle that permits getting and setting the UUID for a Connection
.
A connection’s UUID is a globally unique value that can identify a given connection across environments and process boundaries. Connection UUIDs are never reused.
This is distinct from environmentd’s concept of a “connection ID”, which is
a u32
that only identifies a connection within a given environment and
only during its lifetime. These connection IDs are frequently reused.
