Binlog Event Type
Variants§
UNKNOWN_EVENT = 0
Ignored event.
START_EVENT_V3 = 1
A start event is the first event of a binlog for binlog-version 1 to 3.
Superseded by FORMAT_DESCRIPTION_EVENT
since mysql v5.0.0.
QUERY_EVENT = 2
A QUERY_EVENT
is created for each query that modifies the database,
unless the query is logged row-based.
STOP_EVENT = 3
A STOP_EVENT
has no payload or post-header.
ROTATE_EVENT = 4
The rotate event is added to the binlog as last event to tell the reader what binlog to request next.
INTVAR_EVENT = 5
LOAD_EVENT = 6
SLAVE_EVENT = 7
Ignored event.
CREATE_FILE_EVENT = 8
APPEND_BLOCK_EVENT = 9
EXEC_LOAD_EVENT = 10
DELETE_FILE_EVENT = 11
NEW_LOAD_EVENT = 12
RAND_EVENT = 13
USER_VAR_EVENT = 14
FORMAT_DESCRIPTION_EVENT = 15
A format description event is the first event of a binlog for binlog-version 4. It describes how the other events are layed out.
§Note
Added in MySQL 5.0.0 as replacement for START_EVENT_V3

Prepared XA transaction terminal event similar to Xid.
PARTIAL_UPDATE_ROWS_EVENT = 39
Extension of UPDATE_ROWS_EVENT, allowing partial values according to binlog_row_value_options.
TRANSACTION_PAYLOAD_EVENT = 40
ENUM_END_EVENT = 41
Total number of known events.
