Function to_val 

fn to_val(datum: Datum<'_>) -> Val

Converts a jsonb datum into a jaq value.

Numbers convert as jaq’s own JSON reader converts their text: integers to Num::Int or Num::BigInt, and everything else to Num::Dec, which keeps the decimal text until arithmetic turns it into a float.
